healthy soil leads to healthy plants.
The Accidental Agronomist was born from my desire to offer sensible and practical soil fertility advice for all types of growers. More now than ever, growers need reliable advice for soil nutrient management issues.
From the backyard gardener, novice grower, urban farmer, to the CSA grower, and the seasoned farmer I offer grounded and sustainable nutrient management recommendations.
i Believe In
an honest, unbiased approach to agronomic consulting.
My interest in farming began at an early age. In middle school, I raised dairy cows for 4-H and in high school two seeing eye puppies. After high school, I studied at Delaware Valley University. I helped my family on their farm by raising beef cows, goats, chickens, and market pumpkins. This is when I realized I had a true passion for agronomy.
i Believe In
doing work because it brings you joy.
I assist a wide variety of growers with soil fertility recommendations to maximize their crop production. I work one on one with growers to create custom fertility recommendations that meet that crops growing requirements. I also provide growers with written recommendations and on-going support through emails, phone conversations, and site visits when possible. In addition to consulting, I provide educational support through presentations and workshops.
